MEET ANDREA

Andrea is a passionate dance instructor dedicated to fostering a lifelong love of movement in every student she teaches. She began dancing at the age of three and spent her youth immersed in studio training, developing a strong foundation in technique, musicality, and performance. During that time, she had the opportunity to study under legendary tap artist Savion Glover, whose artistry deeply influenced her understanding of rhythm and expression.

Her dedication and talent led her to three years as a Minnesota Timberwolves Dancer and a season with the New England Patriots Cheerleaders, where she gained invaluable experience performing professionally and connecting with audiences through the joy of dance. During her professional career, Andrea also studied under acclaimed choreographers Tabitha and Napoleon D’umo (So You Think You Can Dance), further refining her performance style and creative approach.

After sustaining an injury during her professional dance career, Andrea discovered the healing power of mindful movement through yoga. Though she has chosen to no longer practice yoga in the traditional sense, Andrea continues to apply its physical benefits of alignment, breath, and balance to her dance teaching. Her curiosity and commitment to understanding the body led her to complete over 500 hours of training in yoga, anatomy, yoga therapy, prenatal, and kids’ yoga. Through this journey, she learned that movement—done with intention and awareness—can restore, strengthen, and heal.

Today, Andrea blends her professional dance experience with her knowledge of restorative movement to help students move with confidence, grace, and joy. Grounded in her Christian faith, she believes dance is both a form of creative expression that glorifies God through the beauty of movement. Her classes are a welcoming space for anyone—especially those stepping away from the intensity of competitive dance—to rediscover the pure joy of movement and cultivate a lasting love of dance.

Andrea’s hope is to inspire every dancer she teaches to find their own rhythm, honor their unique image bearing body, and carry a love of movement that lasts a lifetime.

She looks forward to welcoming you to her classes at Eremos Studio in 2026.
